Flour, water and friendship

The Bread Club was set up to bring people together to learn and share bread-making skills in relaxed, friendly and affordable sessions.

A range of bakers from South East London are involved with the club, teaching breads from around the world while explaining the origins of the bread and their own baking journey.

Sociable sessions give everyone a chance to make their own bread from scratch and meet other local people.

Once the bread is ready the group sits down to taste the fruits of its labours, with plenty left for people to take home at the end.
